Trehalube Eye drops (Sodium Hyaluronate )

• Composition :
  Sodium Hyaluronate 0.1%
• Indications :
  For the treatment of dry eye disease.
• Pharmacodynamics :
  Sodium hyaluronate binds to fibronectin and accelerates the adhesion and extension of epithelial cells. It forms a viscoelastic solution in water which makes it a suitable substitute for aqueous and vitreous humour.
• Dosage and administration :
  Instill 1 drop twice daily or as directed by the physician.
• Contraindications :
  Known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation.
• Precautions and warnings :
  For external use only. Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye directly in order to avoid the contamination of the drug. Not to be used while wearing hydrogel soft contact lenses.
• Use in pregnancy, lactation & pediatrics :
  There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, nursing woman and in pediatric patients have not been established.
• Drug interactions :
  Not known.
• Adverse reactions :
  Transient burning sensation, itching, irritation and conjunctivitis. .
