Neurica NT Tablets (Pregabalin+ Nortriptyline )

• Composition :
  Each Capsules contains Pregabalin 75 mg and Nortriptyline 10mg
• Indications :
  For the treatment of neuropathic pain.
• Pharmacodynamics :
  Pregabalin binds with high affinity to the alpha2-delta site and brings about anti-nociceptive effects. Nortriptyline inhibits the activity of both serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake also blocks sodium channels, which may contribute to its analgesic effects
• Dosage and administration :
  one tablet twice daily.
• Contraindications :
  Neurica NT is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the constituents.
• Precautions and warnings :
  Pregabalin can cause angioedema, increases the risk of suicidal thoughts or behavior, Nortriptyline may cause worsening of depression and/or the emergence of suicidal ideation and behavior.
• Use in pregnancy, lactation & pediatrics :
  Pregnancy and lactation - there are no adequate and wellcontrolled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks. Safety and effectiveness in the pediatric population have not been established
• Drug interactions :
  there are no pharmacokinetic interactions between pregabalin and the following antiepileptic drugs: carbamazepine, valproic acid, lamotrigine, phenytoin, phenobarbital, and topiramate. Close supervision and careful adjustment of the dosage are required when nortriptyline is used with other anticholinergic drugs and sympathomimetic drugs.
• Adverse reactions :
  Most common side effects are Dizziness, headache, fatigue, nausea, blurred vision, dry mouth, and weight gain.
