Nextane Eye drops (Sodium Hyaluronate + L-Leucine + L-Glycine + L-Lysine + L-Proline)

• Composition :
  Sodium Hyaluronate 0.1%+ L-Leucine + L-Glycine + L-Lysine + L-Proline
• Indications :
  For the treatment of sensation of ocular dryness and other minor complaints of no pathological significance such as burning and ocular fatigue induced for example by dust, smoke, dry atmosphere, air-conditioning, extended computer screen use or contact lens.
• Pharmacodynamics :
  Sodium hyaluronate binds to fibronectin and accelerates the adhesion and extension of epithelial cells. It forms a viscoelastic solution in water which makes it a suitable substitute for aqueous and vitreous humour. The amino acids, leucine, glycine, lysine and proline provide a fundamental contribution to the healing process through the production of collagen fibres and epithelial remodelling in the course of wound healing.
• Dosage and administration :
  Instill 1 drop 3 times daily or as directed by the physician.
• Contraindications :
  Known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation.
• Precautions and warnings :
  For external use only. Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye directly in order to avoid the contamination of the drug. Not to be used while wearing hydrogel soft contact lenses.
• Use in pregnancy, lactation & pediatrics :
  There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, nursing woman and in pediatric patients below the age of 10 years have not been established.
• Drug interactions :
  Not known.
• Adverse reactions :
  Transient burning sensation, itching, irritation and conjunctivitis.
