Indicated for Vitamins and Minerals deficiency states in adult patients.
Calcitriol is a form of vitamin D that is used to treat and prevent low levels of calcium in the blood of patients whose kidneys or parathyroid glands. Vitamin B12, one of the B vitamins, is a water soluble vitamin that plays a key role in the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system, and the formation of blood. Folate or folic acid also called as Vitamin B9 is one of 8 B vitamins. All B vitamins help the body convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which is used to produce energy. Boron is also a very important mineral in osteoporosis prevention. It is an omega-3 fatty acid. There is increasing evidence to suggest that the long-chain omega-3 fatty acid Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) in the diet may also promote the development of a healthy skeleton and thereby reduce the risk of developing conditions such as osteoporosis in later life. Docosahexaenoic acid, or DHA, is a polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid (PUFA) found throughout the body.
