Lubrex DS Eye Drops (Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose)

• Composition :
  SodiumCarboxymethyl Cellulose 1% eye drops.
• Indications :
  Indicated for the temporary relief of burning, irritation and discomfort due to dryness of the eye or exposure to wind or sun. May be used as a protectant against further irritation.
• Pharmacodynamics :
  Carboxymethylcellulose is an isotonic, lubricatingformulation, similar to normal tears which provides immediate relief and long lasting protection against dryness and irritation for patients with dry eyes.
• Dosage and administration :
  1-2 drops in the affected eye(s)2 to 4 times per day as needed.If carboxymethyl cellulose eye drops is concomitantly used with other ocular eye medications, there must be an interval of at least 15 minutes between the two medications (as displacement of a medication may occur).
• Contraindications :
  Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients.
• Precautions and warnings :
  For external use only.
• Use in pregnancy, lactation & pediatrics :
  There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, nursing woman and in pediatric patients have not been established.
• Drug interactions :
  None known.
• Adverse reactions :
  It is usuallywell tolerated but occasionally stinging, burning, red eyes, changes in vision or allergic reactions can occur after instillation.
