Cornigel eye ointment (White soft paraffin + White mineral oil + Lanolin Alcohol)

• Composition :
  White soft paraffin 57.5% + White mineral oil 42.5% + Lanolin Alcohol 0.2% eye ointment.
• Indications :
  Indicated asan adjunctive therapy to lubricate and protect the eye in conditions such as exposure keratitis, decreased corneal sensitivity, recurrent corneal erosions, keratoconjunctivitis sicca.
• Pharmacodynamics :
  Cornigel ointment contains white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin (also known as mineral oil) and lanolin alcohols (also known as wool alcohols). These ingredients produce a transparent, lubricating, humectant,protective and occlusivefilm on the surface of the eyeball and prevents water loss by evaporation.
• Dosage and administration :
  Pull down the lower lid of the affected eye and apply a small amount (one-fourth inch) of ointment to the inside of the eyelid and repeat at intervals or as prescribed.
• Precautions and warnings :
  For external use only. To avoid contamination, do not touch tip of container to any surface. Replace cap after using.
• Use in pregnancy, lactation & pediatrics :
  There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, nursing woman. Safety and effectiveness in pediatric population have not been established
• Drug interactions :
  Not known

  Blurred vision, Irritation, redness, burning or stinging of the eye.
