FBN Eye drop (Flurbiprofen Sodium)

• Composition :
  Flurbiprofen Sodium 0.03% Eye Drops.
• Indications :
  Reduction of post-operative inflammation.
• Pharmacodynamics :
  Flurbiprofen sodium has analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory activity. Acts through the inhibition of the cyclo-oxygenase enzyme that is essential in the biosynthesis of prostaglandins.
• Dosage and administration :
  Beginning twenty-four hours after surgery, one drop is administered four times daily for at least one week after laser trabeculoplasty or for two to three weeks after other surgery.
• Precautions and warnings :
  To be used with caution in surgical patientswith known bleeding tendencies or who are receiving other medications which may prolong bleeding time.
• Use in pregnancy, lactation & pediatrics :
  : There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, nursing woman. Safety and effectiveness in pediatric population have not been established

  Not known
• Adverse reactions :
  Transient burning, stinging and increased bleeding tendency of oculartissues in conjunction with ocular surgery.
