Indicated for Anterior chamber intra-ocular surgery.
Sodium hyaluronate is a polysaccharide which functions as a tissue lubricant. It is widely used in ophthalmic surgery because it forms a viscoelastic solution in water which makes it a suitable substitute for aqueous humour.
Administer Sodium hyaluronate injection using a cannula to maintain Anterior Chamber and prevent corneal endothelial injury during Anterior segment surgery.
Contraindicated in aphakic, diabetic individuals and ocular infection patients. Do not overfill Sodium hyaluronate in anterior and posterior segment of the eye.
Monitor intraocular pressure. Hypersensitivity to sodium hyaluronate or avian proteins.
There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, nursing woman and in pediatric patients below the age of 10 years have not been established..

Transient increase in IOP, iritis, hypopyon, corneal edema and corneal decompensation.
Protect from light. Store under refrigeration at 2° to 8°C.
