Alcaft Eye drops(Alcatfadine)

• Composition :
  Alcaftadine eye drops 0.25%Eye Drops.
• Indications :
  Indicated for the prevention of itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis in patients between the age group 10 to 60 years.
• Pharmacodynamics :
  Alcaftadine is a H1 histamine receptorantagonist and inhibitor of the release ofhistamine from mast cells. Decreasedchemotaxis and inhibition of eosinophilactivation has also been demonstrated
• Dosage and administration :
  One drop in each eye once a day.
• Precautions and warnings :
  For topical ophthalmic use only. To minimize the risk of contamination, do not touchdropper tip to any surface. Keep bottle tightly closedwhen not in use. Should not be used to treat contact lens-related irritation.Remove contact lenses prior to instillation.
• Use in pregnancy, lactation & pediatrics :
  Pregnancy Category B.There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnancy, lactation and pediatric population. This product should only be used in pregnancy if considered essential by the doctor
