Dolo Suspension (Paracetamol)

• Composition :
  Paracetamol 156.25mg /5 ml Suspension.
• Indications :
  Analgesic and antipyretic
• Pharmacodynamics :
  Paracetamol is a centrally acting analgesic and antipyretic agent. Its mechanism of action is believed to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, primarily within the central nervous system.
• Dosage and administration :

• Contraindications :
  Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients/components of the product, severe and active hepatic impairment.
• Precautions and warnings :
  Do not take if allergic to paracetamol. Paracetamol should be given with care to patients with impaired renal or hepatic function. Large doses should be avoided in patients with hepatic impairment as overdose may harm the liver. Maximum recommended daily dose of paracetamol should not be exceeded.
• Drug interactions :
  The anticoagulant effect of warfarin and other coumarins may be enhanced by prolonged regular daily use of paracetamol with increased risk of bleeding; occasional doses have no significant effect.
• Adverse reactions :
  Adverse effects of paracetamol are rare and usually mild, although hematological reactions have been reported. Skin rashes and other hypersensitivity reactions occur occasionally.
