Dolo 120 ( Paracetamol)

  • Paracetamol 120mg /5 ml Suspension.
  • Analgesic and antipyretic
  • Paracetamol is a centrally acting analgesic and antipyretic agent. Its mechanism of action is believed to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, primarily within the central nervous system.
  • For the symptomatic relief of fever at 2, 3 and 4 months:

    2.5ml. This dose may be given up to 4 times a day starting at the time of vaccination. Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24-hour period. Leave at least 4-6 hours between doses.

    • Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24-hour period.
    • Leave atleast 4 hours between the doses
  • Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients/components of the product and in patients with severe or active hepatic impairment.
  • Do not use with any other products-containing products as it may lead to overdose. Underlying liver disease increases the risk of paracetamol related liver damage. Patients who have been diagnosed with liver or kidney impairment must seek medical advice before taking this medication. Maximum recommended daily dose of paracetamol should not be exceeded.
  • The anticoagulant effect of warfarin and other coumarins may be enhanced by prolonged regular daily use of paracetamol with increased risk of bleeding; occasional doses have no significant effect.
  • Adverse effects of paracetamol are rare and usually mild, although hematological reactions have been reported. Skin rashes and other hypersensitivity reactions occur occasionally.
