Tolpazen Tablet (Trypsin+Bromelain +Rutoside+ Aceclofenac )

  • Each tablet contains Trypsin BP 48 mg + Bromelain 90 mg + Rutoside Trihydrate 100mg + Aceclofenac 100mg
  • For treatment of inflammation associated with rheumatic and degenerative conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, spondylopathies, tendonitis and bursitis
  • Trypsin is a proteolytic enzyme commonly used to digest proteins into peptides.It improves humoral response and prevents growth of pathogens and inhibits the rise in C reactive protein. Trypsin shows anti-oxidant effects and it affects the protease activated receptor 2 activation, which reduces the inflammatory response Bromelain has potential to reduce neutrophil migration and pro- inflammatory cytokines secretion and thus have anti-inflammatory properties. Rutoside trihydrate has the potential to inhibit pro-inflammatory genes transcription in human macrophages. Aceclofenac is an orally administered phenylacetic acid derivative with effects on a variety of inflammatory mediators. Through its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, aceclofenac provides symptomatic relief in a variety of painful conditions. Due to its preferential cyclooxygenase (COX-2) blockade. Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant.
  • One tablet once a day with or after food

  • Careful administration in impaired renal function, cardiac impairment, liver dysfunction, those taking diuretics and the elderly. Renal function should be monitored in these patient. Aceclofenac may reversibly inhibit platelet aggregation

  • Aceclofenac may reduce the activity of diuretics, may increase plasma concentrations of lithium, may enhance the activity of anticoagulants. With Cardiac glycoside it may precipitate Cardiac failure.Caution should be exercised if NSAIDs and methotrexate, Convulsions may occur due to an interaction between quinolones and NSAIDs, Aceclofenac with concomitant NSAIDs including cyclooxygenase-2-selective inhibitors should be avoided. Drug interactions noted with mifepristone, corticosteroids, Tacrolimus, Zidovudine.
