  • Each tablet contains Diacerein 50 mg + Glucosamine Sulphate potassium Chloride 750 mg + Methylsulfonyl methane 250 mg
  • For the symptomatic treatment of adult patients with Osteoarthitis of hip and knee joint.
  • Diacerein is a symptomatic slow-acting drug in osteoarthritis (SYSADOA) with anti-inflammatory, anti-catabolic and pro-anabolic properties on cartilage and synovial membrane. Diacerin is an anthraquinone derivative. It has been shown to inhibit the production of Interlukin 1 (IL1) & reduce cartilage breakdown & cartilage lesions. It reduces pain and swelling in Osteoarthritis. The chondroprotective action of Glucosamine can be explained by a dual mechanism: (1) as basic components of cartilage and synovial fluid, they stimulate the anabolic process of the cartilage metabolism; (2) their anti-inflammatory action can delay many inflammation-induced catabolic processes in the cartilage. These mechanisms are able to slow the progression of cartilage destruction and may help to regenerate the joint structure, leading to reduced pain and increased mobility of the affected joint. Methylsulfonyl methane has antioxidant action, antiinflammatory.
