Secalia Lotion (Glycerin)

• Composition :
  Glycerin IP 15%w/w Lotion
• Indications :
  For rough or chapped skin.
• Pharmacodynamics :
  Glycerine in water is applied to dry and chapped skin, it acts as an emolient.
• Dosage and administration :
  Mix with an equal quantity of water and apply directly to the affected area up to six times daily.
• Contraindications :
  In patients with known hypersensitivity to glycerol.
• Precautions and warnings :
  Seek immediate medical attention if any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat) etc occurs. Avoid going in the sun, tanning booths and sunlamps, and use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors.
• Use in pregnancy, lactation & pediatrics :
  medicines should be avoided if possible during pregnancy and lactation, should be prescribed only if clearly needed.
• Drug interactions :
  There have been no formal studies of the interaction with other drugs
• Adverse reactions :
  Most adverse reactions are burning, stinging, redness, or irritation.
