Each tablet contains Aceclofenac 100mg + Drotaverine 80mg.
Indicated for the treatment of adult patients with muscular pain associated with spasm.
Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal agent with marked anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. The mode of action of aceclofenac is largely based on the inhibition to prostaglandin synthesis. Aceclofenac is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. Drotaverine has antispasmodic effect mediated via inhibition of phosphodiesterase, specific for smooth muscle. It has a rapid and direct action on the smooth muscle. It acts to correct cyclic AMP and Ca imbalance at the spastic site, thereby relieving smooth muscle spasm and pain.
Two tablets daily, taken as one tablet in the morning and one in the evening.
