• Composition :
  Octinoxate USP 7.5% w/w +Avobenzone USP 2% w/w + Oxybenzone USP 3% w/w + Octocrylene USP 3% w/w +Zinc Oxide IP 2% w/w
• Indications :
  used to lighten the freckles, hyperpigmentations, age spots, melasma and post procedures. It reduces the recurrence rate of black spots due to sunlight or ultraviolet light exposure.
• Pharmacodynamics :
  Absorbs UV-B (predominantly) and UV-A rays while accumulating in the outermost layer of the epidermis. octinoxate prevents the damage to cells and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) by reducing the p53 protein expression following UV exposure and also increases the skin's tolerability to UV rays.
• Dosage and administration :
  Apply twice daily.
• Contraindications :
  In patients with an allergy to Avobenzone containing sunscreen solutions, history of asthma, eczema, psoriasis and other similar skin disorders. Any other excipients of the formulation.
• Precautions and warnings :
  For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if signs of rash or irritation develop. For use on children under 6 moths of age, consult a physician. Keep out of the reach of children.
• Use in pregnancy, lactation & pediatrics :
  Safety and effectiveness in this population have not been established
• Drug interactions :
  There have been no formal studies of the interaction of Photoban-30 Aquagel with other drugs.
• Adverse reactions :
  Most common adverse reactions are abrasion, blue-black darkening of the skin, allergic skin rashes with dizziness and difficulty in breathing.
