Oxidon Plus Capsule (Betacarotene + Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate USP + Selenium Dioxide + Manganese + Copper )

• Composition :
  Betacarotene 30mg+ Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate USP 27.5mg + Selenium Dioxide 200mcg + Manganese 2mg + Copper 1mg.
• Indications :
  To reduce the severity of photosensitivity reactions. As an antioxidant offers protection against harmful UV radiation and free radical damage.
• Pharmacodynamics :
  Beta carotene scavenges free radicals including singlet oxygen and superoxide anions and prevents reactive oxygen species mediated cell damage.
• Dosage and administration :
  One capsule in a day
• Contraindications :
  Hypersensitivity to active ingredients or any other excipients of the formulation.
• Precautions and warnings :
  High doses β -carotene intake may increase the risk of lung cancer, skin discoloration, may increase cardiovascular risk.
• Use in pregnancy, lactation & pediatrics :
  Safety and effectiveness in this population have not been established.
• Drug interactions :
  Orlistat decrease the absorption of Beta Carotene, Zinc sulfate reduce the absorption of tetracyclines.
• Adverse reactions :
  The most common adverse reactions are arthralgia, diarrhoea, dizziness and bruising.
