  • Each 5 ml (one teaspoonful) contains Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5 mg.
  • For the symptomatic relief of Common cold.
  • Chlorpheniramine antagonizes competitively the effects of histamine on H1-receptors and also has weak antimuscarinic and moderate antiserotonin and local anaesthetic actions. Phenylephrine is a sympathomimetic agent with mainly direct effects on adrenergic receptors. It has predominantly alpha adrenergic activity that causes vasoconstriction and relieves nasal congestion.

Antihistamines are contraindicated in patients with narrow angle glaucoma, acute asthmatic attack.
  • Do not exceed recommended dosage. Antihistamines may cause excitability, especially in children. At doses higher than the recommended dose, nervousness, dizziness or sleeplessness may occur.
  • Antihistamines may enhance the effects of CNS depressants when given concomitantly. MAO inhibitors prolong and intensify the anticholinergic effects of antihistamines.
