3. Human Resources Planning : Determining the Organisation's human resources needs & finding ways & means of achieving them through external recruitment or by internal staffing through redeployment or promotions.
   
4. Career / Succession Planning : Matching people & their career needs & capabilitieswith jobs & career paths.
   
5. Training & Development : Identifying & assessing through planned learning & assisting self development to help people develop key competencies [technical, behavioral & conceptual ] which will enable the individual to perform better in their current or future assignments.
